A capable editor that keeps the footage with you
Turn speech in almost any language into English subtitles with a local AI model, then edit the timing and export. The preview, project settings, captions, and final render stay in this browser. Save a small project JSON and relink the original video later without placing the footage in cloud storage.

How to use the local video studio
- Import a video Choose a video directly from your device. It is opened as a local browser object, not uploaded.
- Choose a layout Apply a template or set the canvas, filter, text, and caption controls yourself.
- Preview and refine Play the source on the canvas, seek on the timeline, and edit every setting before rendering.
- Export locally Render an MP4 or WebM with WebCodecs and save the finished file straight to your device.
Your footage stays on your device
Video decoding, preview, AI inference, and rendering run in your browser. AI runtime and model files are downloaded only when you request captions; your audio and video are not included in those model requests. Project JSON contains settings and source metadata, never the media bytes or a private local path.

Usein kysytyt kysymykset
- Is my video uploaded?
- No. The video stays in your browser and is processed with local browser APIs.
- Does the AI send audio to a server?
- No. The speech model downloads on demand and inference runs on your device. Only static model files are fetched.
- Can I use it on a phone?
- Yes. The layout adapts to mobile, uses a smaller AI model on constrained devices, and lets you lower export resolution.
- What is stored in a project file?
- Only editable settings, captions, text, and basic source metadata. Reopening asks you to relink the original media.
